Perez Hilton and Speidi on Carrie Prejean's sex tape

Not knowing what the "sex tapes" of Carrie Prejean consists of, but assuming they are photos of her in the nude, and she claims to be a teenager when they were done and she sent them to her then boyfriend at that time via a cell phone, why hasn't she been charged with child pornography? Isn't this what's happening across the country with these kids "sexting" pictures from one phone to another? charges are being brought against them, so why not her as well?

I really don't care about Heidi and Spencer...I find them boring. I wish they'd get jobs and earn their money like the rest of us. However, I must admit they are "right on" with their views on Carrie Prejean – she is definitely NOT the brightest crayon in the box. And, Perez really hit it when he called her a liar. Frankly, I find her offensive, and I consider myself an open minded, each to his own, kind of person. I also don't have a problem with her view on same sex marriage – I disagree with her, but she certainly has a right to her opinion....I also don't have a problem with the fact that she expressed that opinion the night she was crowned Miss California. What I DO have a problem with is the fact that she was SO VERY INARTICULATE! She sounded like a babbling fool. It seemed obvious to me that she wasn't capable of thinking through or coming up with a sophisticated response, regardless of her views. After she was on The View, I've not watched her on any other shows – she's superficial and dense. Love the way Joy brought in panels tonight to comment on Carrie and Sarah.

Dear Joy, just a thought to consider regarding The Prejean story. She made a mistake that has surfaced because a former "boyfriend" betrayed her trust. Why hasn't anyone grilled this guy for being a pervert. Why hasn't anyone investigated how many girls he has video taped illegally ? Where is the balance of investigation- What is he hiding? This story happens everyday to perverted men exploiting young girls. Investigate the guy- I can bet Prejean isn't the first, I'll bet he has his own collection of young girls. While I will stipulate that Ms. Prejean does not appear to be the sharpest knife in the drawer, beyond expressing her opinion (a right which I believe is something Americans hold rather dear) she has done no harm to society. Carrie, her boyfriend at the time, and which ever company buys the right to the tapes, will not be charged with child pornography, as its already been confirmed that these videos were taken well after she was legal. Being the compulsive liar that she is, she tried to get the tapes throw out by claiming she was still a minor when they were taken. Any digital media can be traced from the info captured in digital cameras. Everything from the time stamp, to the model of camera it was shot with. That information cannot be altered. So, now they know the videos are legal, they can plaster her "holy temple" all over the internet. She's a hypocritical, self-absorbed, bitch, who loves to play the victim.

I agree with Obama that these self-confessed 9/11 planners should be tried in a NY civilian court. Why? Because first of all, it would show the rest of the world how much the US administration has changed since the horrid Bush era. Secondly, and let's be honest, Mohommad and his co-conspirators will never come out of the civil system scott free. At worst, they will be committed to the death sentance, which the state of New York allows (but has never put in motion). A likely scenario would be they will be found guilty and placed into a high security US federal prison, where ultimately they will be "taken care of" by the resident prsioners. This way, the US government cannot be accused of capital punishment. The prisoners in they system will take care of the government's dirty work, much like they also do with child molesters, Jeffery Dahlmer, etc., who never last long in alive behind bars.

A military tribunal for these guys would be much akin to a kangaroo court, and these enemy combatants would likely stay alive afterwards. I'd be save in assuming the majority of the American population would like to see these bastards dead.
